Ralph Kerle is Executive Chairman of The Creative Leadership Forum and Founder of the Creative Skills Training Council, Asia Pacific – a global network of over 230 of the worlds leading creative practitioners. He is a globally recognised presenter, researcher and writer on creative leadership and creativity and has been awarded by the International India Innovation Summit for his contributions and services to innovation globally.

Ralph is a Council Member of the Creativity Association of Asia, a Chinese Government initiative; a former Board Member and a member of the International Committee of the US Creative Education Foundation; a Leader in the US Creative Problem Solving Institute and a Fellow of the US-based think tank, the Center for Cultural Studies & Analysis. He has been faculty adjunct at The Banff Centre, Banff, Canada as an Innovation Coach in their Leadership Development Programme and an International Thought Leader in their Leadership Learning Lab and a member of the Advisory Board of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology, Utter Pradesh, India.He is the Chair of the Australian Graduate School of Management Executive Programmes Roundtable for Leadership, Creativity and Innovation and a Programme Director within its Executive Programmes.

His research ‘Is Australian Management Creative and Innovative?’ which involved over 30,000 Australians, was launched in November 2008 at the annual general meeting of The Australian Services Roundtable, Australia's leading think tank on services innovation. The research has been widely acclaimed and resourced, including specific requests from the Federal Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Senator Kim Carr.

In 1992, Ralph founded Eventures Australia Pty. Ltd and built Eventures into one of Australia's leading event design and production companies. As Creative Director, Ralph worked for such Fortune 500 companies as Caltex, Fosters, Dairy Farmers, Foxtel, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Kraft Foods, Nestle, Rolls Royce, Peugeot, Toyota, Telstra, Walt Disney, and Yellow Pages.

Scott is an innovator, creative thinker and award-winning communicator, with expertise in integrated marketing and communications. 

Scott Cressman leads NATIONAL Public Relations' Online Communication practice and creative team empowering companies to achieve their communications and marketing goals through the creation of meaningful ideas and results-driven experiences.

Driven by a need to understand people, brands and technology, Scott innovates and delivers. For over 17 years — with start-ups and large companies alike — he has listened to and collaborated with Canadian companies, understood their challenges and helped them stand out. 

Scott is an agile, multi-disciplined, and forward-thinking creative with experience and recognition in creative strategy, design direction and project management for prominent organisations in diverse markets across Canada.

Prior to NATIONAL, Scott served as an art director in the stock photography industry with Getty Images, EyeWire, Adobe, and Image Club Graphics developing and implementing marketing strategies for North American, European and Asia Pacific markets. There he developed projects for Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Apple. Scott began his career with Western International Communications as an art director, working with BCTV Vancouver, CICT Calgary, ITV Edmonton, and CHCH Hamilton. 

Scott is a founding member of the Creative Skills Training Council and volunteers for The Vimy Foundation and United Way. He is an avid photographer and is a regular contributor to Photoshop Magazine.

Ed Halteman, PhD, Principle,

Ed took his first survey methods course in 1978 and has been designing and analysing surveys ever since. He holds a master’s degree in applied mathematics, and a Ph.D. in

statistics. Through research in graduate school and 20 years in industry, Ed has designed and analysed surveys across a wide variety of disciplines including social science, manufacturing, quality, sales and marketing, opinion research, sociology, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and more.

 Ed worked with Rockwell International and StorageTEk (recently acquired by Microsystems) and established SurveyDNa in 2003. Ed is a published author in respected academic journals and is the resident design expert for SurveyGizmo, one of the world’s leading on-line survey platforms.

Andy has been working in public relations and communications for 25 years, first in the U.S., then across Asia and the Middle East after relocating to Sydney, Australia in 2002.

Although Andy's career path has been communications, his passion has always been creativity: how people think, imagine and create ideas. Happily, he has been able to marry this passion to his work as a creative director, brainstorm facilitator, and workshop leader.

His consultancy AQUS focuses on communications training (media training, presentation skills, message development, business writing, client relationships, interview skills, leadership communications and negotiation skills) and strategy/creative brainstorms (in all its forms and for all purposes).

Linda Naiman, founder of Creativity at Work, is recognised internationally for pioneering arts-based learning as a catalyst for developing creativity, innovation, and collaborative leadership in organisations.

 

Linda began her career as a design consultant in marketing communications and the multi-disciplinary nature of her work in business, art and design, led her to explore artistic processes and their applications to leadership and transformation. Linda is an associate business coach at the University of British Columbia, and an adjunct faculty member of the Banff Centre Leadership Lab. Her workshops are part of the management certification program at Royal Roads University. As a speaker and workshop leader, Linda has presented at business conferences in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Clients include Fortune 500 companies, public sector organisations, and boutique consultancies in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Tracey Swanepoel, Johannesburg, South Africa

Tracey Swanepoel started her career as a strategic planner in the advertising industry, working for FCB; Ogilvy and Mather; and eventually becoming Strategic Planning Director at Grey and O2 Communications. In 1999 she set up her own business focusing on internal marketing and strategic alignment, based on a unique model and process for internal marketing and communication which she developed as part of her MBA dissertation.

In 2002 she joined the executive team of Harmony Gold Mining Company in the capacity of Strategist. During her tenure she conceptualised and implemented a variety of innovative tools and channels aimed at reaching a broad and diverse employee target audience. These included: an in house radio station which broadcast to miners underground, an industrial theatre group consisting of mine employees; cartoon manuals and other visual tools (which captured the corporate strategy in a simple, understandable, and interesting way), as well as a Strategic Alignment Toolkit for leaders. She also led two strategic change initiatives, in the areas of shared services, and corporate strategy. In 2006 her role was expanded to include the external marketing portfolio.

In August 2006 Tracey restarted her own business in the form of Squiggle. Tracey has lectured extensively in the areas of strategic alignment, internal marketing and communication and internal/employee branding.

 
She has recently been nominated as a member of the Creative Skills Council: an international forum /knowledge network of experts drawn from academia, the arts, and business who collaborate and share ideas around business innovation and creative leadership.

Tracey has a BA Communications (Hons) (cum laude) and an MBA (Henley Management College, UK).
